We took a massive Tomahawk steak and turned it into the ultimate Wellington—but with a twist. NO MUSHROOMS. Instead, we stuffed it with gooey cheese and fresh Chimichurri for the ultimate outdoor feast. Traditional Beef Wellington is great, but in the wild, we do things differently. By using the Tomahawk bone as a handle and replacing the duxelles with a vibrant Chimichurri and melted cheese layer, we’ve created a steak recipe that’s as bold as the fire we cooked it over. We tried a new technique today: Coating a massive Tomahawk Steak in Cowboy Butter and hanging it beside the fire to slowly warm up before hitting the pan. The process started with whipping up a spicy, garlic-infused Cowboy Butter and pouring it over the raw steak until it formed a solid flavor crust. We hung the butter-encased Tomahawk next to the open flames, letting it temper while we sliced up fresh potatoes for the chips. Then came the sizzle. We dropped the butter-covered steak onto a scorching hot cast iron plate, searing it to perfection as the cowboy butter melted into the meat. To finish, we fried the chips in the wild for the ultimate Steak & Fries combo. From the unique preparation to the final ASMR crunch, this is outdoor cooking at its best. 00:00 intro 00:33 morning stroll 01:04 getting the fire started 02:22 preparing the Tomahawk Steaks 03:50 making Cowboy Butter 07:10 Coating the Steaks with Cowboy butter 08:40 preparing chips 09:43 Searing the Tomahawk Steaks 12:11 Frying Chips/Cutting Steaks 14:22 Food is ready Join our community of over 18 million followers across the web: 🔥TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@menwiththepot 🌲Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/menwiththepot 🔪Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/menwiththepot #menwiththepot #cowboybutter #tomahawksteak #openfirecooking #asmr #steak #bushcraft #outdoorcooking #foodporn #campfiremeals Cowboy Butter Crusted Tomahawk Steak & Fries | Open Fire Cooking
