Margarita Chicken Alfredo Ravioli

There’s something about a plate like this that doesn’t rush you.
It probably didn’t start in the kitchen. It started earlier, somewhere quieter. Maybe it was one of those long days where everything felt just a little louder than it should, and by the time evening rolled in, all you really wanted was something steady. Not complicated, not flashy. Just something that settles in and lets you breathe again.
That’s where this one lives.
The chicken picks up that citrus and garlic out on the grill, just enough to wake things up without taking over. It’s not trying to be the star. It just shows up with a little edge, a little brightness. Then it lands on top of something that already knows what it is. Cheese ravioli, soft and rich, carrying that Alfredo like it’s been doing it forever.
And that’s really the balance here.
You’ve got that light, almost coastal feel from the lime and olive oil, sitting right on top of something deep and comforting. It shouldn’t work as well as it does, but it does. The sauce wraps everything together, the parmesan settles it down, and suddenly you’ve got a plate that feels like it came together without trying too hard.
That salad off to the side isn’t there to check a box. It’s there because you’ll want something crisp between bites. Something that cuts through the richness and keeps you going back for another forkful instead of feeling done too soon.
It’s the kind of meal you make when you’re not trying to impress anyone, but it ends up doing that anyway. You set it down, take a breath, and somewhere between the first bite and the second, the whole day slows down a notch.
And that’s really the point.
